Third
Party Fire and Theft Insurance cover
offers only slightly more protection than Third Party only insurance.
It does exacly as the name suggests, it only covers any third parties
who you may be involved in an accident with (if the accident is
your fault), and also covers you if your vehicle has a fire or is
stolen.
The person who has the third party cover will not receive ANYTHING
in the instance that they are at fault in an accident.

An
example of how Third Party Fire and Theft Insurance works:
Mr.
Smith has Third Party Fire and Theft insurance for his car. He is
driving along and has his friend with him in the passenger seat,
while he is driving he accidentally runs into the back of Mr. Jones
car.
Mr. Smiths passenger and Mr. Jones both were injured in the accident
and damage was caused to both cars.
As the accident was Mr. Smiths fault his insurance company will
pay out. They will pay out for the injuries caused to Mr. Smiths
passenger and also the injuries to Mr. Jones. They will also payout
for the repairs to Mr. Jones car but they WILL NOT pay out
for any damage or injuries caused to Mr. Smith.
Mr.
Smiths vehicle is stolen. His insurance will pay out.
Mr.
Smiths vehicle has a fire. His insurance will pay out.
